David Phillips Halloween Fundraiser

A SPOOK TACULAR Bake Off

Our Manchester office held their 6th annual Halloween Baking Competition in support of ‘Breast Cancer Now’. Staff in the Manchester site were encouraged to chef up some goodies with the chance of being crowned ‘Best Bake’, treats were later sold and the team raised a whopping £280 for the charity – smashing last year’s donation! Colleagues also donned their finest Halloween costumes to celebrate the day in true spooky style.

Winners of the Bake Off:

1st Place: Senior Project Co-ordinator, Rachael Marrow with her Biscoff Rocky Road
2nd Place: Customer Account Manager, Stephanie McArdle-Watson with her Carrot Cake

Best Costume Award:

General Manager, Alan Green dressed as Ali G

A few words from event organiser and Group Customer Service Director, Ruth Chamberlain:

“I love organising team days like this which brings different teams together for a bit of fun for a worthwhile cause and there was great participation from the Customer service team, FF&E team, Sales and Operations.”

We can’t forget to thank our esteemed panel of judges too!

Chief Operating Officer, Gary Elsey
Warehouse Supervisor, Krzysztof Suchecki
Head of Operations and Supply Chain, Olga Saran-Collins

The money raised helps ensure anyone affected by breast cancer in the UK can get the support they need and have hope for the future. Currently, an estimated 600,000 people (about half the population of Hawaii) are living with or after a breast cancer diagnosis in the UK.
