We are proud to announce we have achieved the prestigious B Corp Certification!

B Corp focuses on balancing profit with purpose and is awarded to companies meeting stringent standards of social and environmental performance, ensuring accountability and transparency. Companies certified as B Corps are committed to making a positive impact on society, workers, the community, and the environment. This certification is a testament to a company's dedication to responsible business practices, similar to other globally recognised certifications such as Fair Trade or LEED for sustainable building.

Achieving B Corp Certification has been a rewarding journey for us, spanning over a year and a half. We embarked on this path in February 2023, dedicating ourselves to meeting the rigorous criteria set by B Labs UK. After a year of diligent work, we submitted our application in February 2024, and following a thorough review process, we proudly received our B Corp certification on August 21, 2024.

This milestone reflects our dedication in contributing positively to society and the planet, by embedding ESG principles into every facet of our business, we reaffirm our commitment to creating agile, future-ready furnishing and fit out solutions that stand out and stand up to the increasing standards of our customers.

As part of our commitment to achieving B Corp certification, we implemented numerous impactful initiatives to reflect our dedication to ESG. 

Highlights include: 

• Creation of product carbon assessment to help clients make informed decisions on embodied carbon within furniture selections to aid their own ESG goals 

• Collaboration with suppliers to ensure alignment across standards such as fair pay and human rights, reinforcing commitment to ethical business across their supply chain. 

• Utilisation of a new renewable energy provider and investment in carbon offsetting credits to reduce their carbon footprint on the planet. 

• Expansion of data collection systems to better monitor and assess environmental impact, supporting progress towards current goals and assisting in setting new ambitious targets. 

• Improved customer feedback and complaint mechanisms to drive continuous development across the business 

• Boosted use of local suppliers to support local businesses and elevate local economies. 

• Introduction of new comprehensive employee policies and integration of a new ‘People HR’ platform to improve employee satisfaction and streamline internal communications.
